Maggie Walt Design :: Performance Series Featuring Bill Bourne

This Thursday we host the second evening of the Maggie Walt Performance Series featuring an intimate concert with legendary, three time Juno Award winner, Bill Bourne.
Performance Series is about a bit of shopping, socializing, fundraising and entertainment all fused into one evening.
Ticket proceeds will be donated to Change For Children which has a 30 year legacy of doing good deeds for the children of Central/South America, Africa and other parts of the developing world.
Tickets are $20 each and may be purchased only in advance from Maggie Walt Design, Change For Children or charge by phone at (780) 482-1238. Snacks and beverages provided courtesy of Maggie Walt Design.
It promises to be an evening of fun, fashion and great music. Please join us this Thursday November 27th.

Book Review-The Story of Sushi, by Trevor Corson

What makes The Story of Sushi so enthralling is Corson’s narrative non-fiction approach that allows the reader to step inside the sushi classroom and learn along with the students. While researching for the book, Corson spent time observing a class at the California Sushi Academy. The students at the academy become characters in his book, and he uses their experiences to provide anecdote between the sushi biography.
