Maggie Walt Design :: Performance Series
On July 10th we debut the Maggie Walt Performance Series. PS is about a bit of shopping, socializing, fundraising and entertainment all fused into one evening.
Tracy Friesen and Raena Waddell will be performing Tracy’s moving “Split Open” dance which explores manipulation, masochism, mania, and madness in love. They’ve performed the piece, to great reviews, at Dance Explosions in Calgary and the Expanse Dance Festival in Edmonton.
Sharmila Mathur is going to set the mood for the evening with her Sitar.
And, many of our friends in the business community have generously donated items for the evenings’ silent auction. All (admission) ticket and auction proceeds will go to the I-India organization which helps shelter, feed and educate the street children of Jaipur , India .
The cost of admission is $10. We encourage you to purchase your tickets soon as there are a limited number available. Just drop by the store, or have your credit card handy and give us a call at 482-1238.
